Mark it in your calendar, folks! The DMR-MARC World Wide Net is held every Saturday at 17:00 UTC (12:00pm EST) and is available to hams around the globe via DMR repeaters in Canada, USA, Germany, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Finland, and Sweden. With over 2,500 DMR users worldwide, this net is one of the busiest nets available in the Toronto area, with typical weekly check-ins of around 100 stations.

Anyone interested in accessing the net can do so by tuning into the VA3XPR digital DMR repeater via Talkgroup 1 or by listening to the Live Audio stream.

Say Hello to Santa!

Do you have some young ones that are anxious to get in contact with Santa to pass along the items on their Christmas wish list? Perhaps some new items were recently added and he simply needs an update? Well, they are in luck! On December 15, 2012 at 1:00pm ET, Santa Claus will be live on the air from the North Pole for the Alaska Reflector’s annual Santa Claus Net, being held on IRLP Reflector 9070. Tune into the VA3XPR repeater and let them say hello to Santa!
