SUMMARY

The APX 7000 is one of Motorola’s latest radios for the public safety market, featuring multiband capability (VHF, UHF 380 – 520 MHz and UHF 700/800 MHz), integrated GPS, dual LCD displays and front keypad programmable, plus much more. This is a excellent radio for amateur radio use on the 2m and 70cm bands, as it is feature rich, durable and likely to more than satisfy even the most demanding user.

If so, then don’t miss the IRLP & EchoLink Made Easy tutorial on the VA3XPR repeater on Thursday September 20th @ 7:00pm ET. This interactive tutorial, which is part of the VA3XPR “Over The Air Learning” series, will teach participants all about IRLP and EchoLink operation, whether using an HT, PC or smartphone and is intended to help amateur radio operators make the most of this great hobby. This tutorial will be delivered using the VA3XPR repeater, IRLP, EchoLink and the VA3XPR.net website.
